The capital city of La Douce France, also known as Paris! People call it the city of love. For everyone who know La France, it’s the perfect country to enjoy food and drinks. But Paris has a lot more to offer and is really worth to make a citytrip to this beautiful city. The only question remains: a citytrip to Paris? How many days do I need?

Visiting Paris? In how many days?

To visit the capital city of France, you need at least a couple of days. As there is a lot, really a lot, to do in Paris. Also depending of your own interest, it’s not easy to give a clear answer. As from our experiences, we’ve learned that you’ll need to spend at least 3 or 4 full days in beautiful Paris. Only then you’ll be able to get a clear view of the beauty.

There are also a lot of musea in the capital city, if you want to visit some of them (like the Louvre), you can easily stay a full week without getting bored. Or you can also choose to revisit the city to see the rest or do an Eurotrip and see other great European cities.

Visit Paris in 1 day

We recommend to spend at least 3 or 4 days in the capital city of France. But even if you only have 1 day, you can enjoy the city. Hope for a sunny day and you can fall in love with this city. Take the Hop on, Hop Off bus. The tour takes you to the most important and must-see places of Paris.

Best time to visit Paris

Throughout the year you can plan your (city)trip to Paris. But there is a big difference between the different seasons. Paris can be very beautiful in the winter periode, especially during the Christmass period while the city is illuminated with thousands of lights. If you can appreciate the cold weather / freezing temperatures, you can definitely plan your trip in december.

If you’re not a fan of the cold weather. Plan your trip in spring or the summer. It’s the most popular time to visit the city. During the summer months there is a lot of things to do in Paris. The ideal time to visit the city of love.

Champs-Elysées

It’s the widest and most famous street of Paris. It’s also know as “the most beautiful avenue in the world”. It’s 2km long and starts in the Place de Concorde and ends at the Arc de Triomphe.

Arc de Triomphe

This is one of the most famous triumphal arch and it’s the symbol of Napoleon’s victory in Austerlitz (more then 200 years ago). The triumphal arch in Paris is the second largest in the world.

Pont Neuf

The Pont Neuf, literally translated as the New Bridge, is actually the oldest bridge of Paris. It’s 238meters long, has 12 roundings and connects Île de la Cité with left and right bank of the Seine.

Louvre

The Louvre or Musée du Louvre, is the most famous museum of Paris and perhaps one of the most famous musea in the world. Most people are visiting the Louvre for “Mona Lisa” of Leonardo Da Vinci. But it’s not the only thing that the Louvre has to offer.
