We would recommend to spend at least 3 days in Sydney but count some extra days to see the surroundings of this beautiful city like Bondi beach. Sydney has a lot to offer like climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Make sure you have enough time to discover it all.
Where is Sydney located?
Sydney is located in the region New south Wales in the South East of Australia. It’s a 900km drive from Brisbane or a 1.400km drive from Adelaide. Australia is enormously big (like the same size of Europe). So the distance between the largest cities are big.

Next to that you have different climates in Australia. The best time to visit Sydney are in their spring (September – November) and automn (March – May). During the summer periods it can be too hot to visit. And during the winter it can be colder. But the temperatures during their winter aren’t that low. It can still be between 15 and 20 degrees Celcius.
